Moskkogáisi via the SE ridge is a nice hike on easy terrain. If you have a 4x4, you can drive from Søreng in Kitdalen into Midterdalen for approx. 1 km. Follow the dirt road from the parking up to the military bunkers situated to the east of the little lake Moskkogáissijávri. The river can be a little difficult to cross in spring, but the further up you go the easier it will be to cross it. The East ridge is just a pleasant walk on easy terrain.
We took a short cut on the descent, following a snowfield on the NE side (see map above).
