The Bjørnskardtinden - Hamperokken traverse.

A brief route description: Follow the Lilleskaret valley all the way to the cirque and scramble up to the Col between Sautinden and Bjørnskardtinden. Follow the West ridge to the summit of Bjørnskardtinden. This is just an easy walk. Our original plan was to climb the South Wall of Bjørnskardtinden´s point 1350, but due to extremely loose rock we were forced to traverse the wall to the left until we reached the West ridge. Easy, but loose scrambling to the summit. The traverse from Point 1350 to Hamperokken is technically easy, but the rock is extremely loose all the way
. I am not sure if I can recommend this trip... If our parents only knew what we were doing on our "fishing trip"...

Climbed by Geir Jenssen and Are Navas on July 15th 1979. It took us 14 hours!
