Cukcavárri (1223), The Lyngen peninsula, Norway

Cukcavárri as seen from Henriktinden.

Cukcavárri is situated to the North of Henriktinden. It has no name on the Tromsø fastland map, but Hans Ragnar Mathisen has named it
Cuckcavárri (Norwegian: Tiurtinden) on his Sami map.

A brief route description: Follow the county road from Laksvatn to Tomasjord. You will find a small tunnell under the E8 road.
Follow Tomasjorddalen for approx. 2 km. Proceed up the South West side of
Litletinden until you reach the col between Litletinden and
Cukcavárri. From here easy to moderate scrambling along the North ridge to the summit.
