FAVRROSVARRI (1320), STORFJORD MUNICIPALITY.

The hike to Fávrrosvárri from Skibotndalen is a long hike in fairly easy terrain. The route follows an old dirt road that was used when a power line was built in the early 1980s. The road becomes more and more obscure the higher you go, but actually goes all the way up to the 1280 middle peak.

Distance to the summit: 13 km
Total distance: 26 km
Time to the summit: approx 4 hours.
Total time: 8 hours

The first 7-8 km goes north-east up Lullefjellet towards a fantastic hanging valley with the Sami name Lulit Àdjetriehppi. Here you have to cross the river Jieknajohka. It was easy in September, but I assume it is a little more difficult in the spring. Follow the road along the power lines towards the head of the valley before climbing northwest up to the col between Ádjit and Fávrrosvárri. Follow the easy west ridge up to point 1280 and continue north to the main summit.
